On January 4th 1960, Decatur, Georgia saw the birth of alt-rock genius Michael Stipe who went on to lead the revolutionary squad known as R.E.M. At 50-years-old today Stipe brought us Murmur, Monster and Automatic for the People making his induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame not only fitting but necessary. Happy birthday Mike!

The Prodigy Releases Invaders Must Die Photo Book
11.17.09The Prodigy’s 2008 & 2009’s Invaders Must Die tour is being commemorated as a photo book. Only 999 of these glossy items are going to be printed, and for the 99 pounds it will cost you’ll get 500 images spread over 350 pages. The hefty tome will also sport a little extra ink, as each copy of the book will bear the autographs of Liam Howlett, Keith Flint and Maxim Reality. January 4th is set as the release date, so following a contemplative New Year’s, nearly 1000 of The Prodigy fans can bask in warm memories of a few years past.
