It looks like British rockers Coldplay won’t be hitting the road again until 2015. During a performance at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Australia earlier this week, lead singer Chris Martin reportedly told the crowd “This is the last big show for three years or so. I don’t want to stop.” If true, the break would represent the first significant gap between tours that Coldplay has taken since they rose to fame in the early 21st century. Each album since Parachutes, released in 2000, has been followed with another album within three years, between which they’ve embarked on lengthy global tours. For that Coldplay fan on your Christmas list, a good consolation prize might come in the form of the band’s new concert film Live 2012, which dropped on November 19th. It comes complete with an e-book full of pictures, videos and Martin’s studio journal.
