Steven Tyler, frontman for decade defying rock ‘n rollers Aerosmith has reportedly been recently undergoing treatment for addiction to painkillers. Although, no one is quite sure whether this would explain the recent spate of bizarre surprise karaoke and impromptu a cappella performances the singer has reportedly been making. First, Tyler, who was supposed to have been shopping for plywood and materials at a Home Depot in Rancho Mirage, California, took to the store’s PA system to belt out the classic Dude Looks Like a Lady and promptly followed it up with a version of I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing, in which he took hits of helium in between breaths, making him sound like one of rodent popstars The Chipmunks. As if this weren’t weird enough, he also reputedly took to the stage at a karaoke night in Palm Springs to lend a helping vocal chord to two guys’ disastrous murdering of I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing.
