Following an emotional farewell tour ending in a tear soaked goodbye in Los Angeles, California this past summer, Trent Reznor had apparently retired NIN as we know it. Until recently when the alt-frontman announced new Nine Inch Nails music in 2010. Wow… a whole four months off Trent… that’s like retiring. Reznor posted a message on his band’s site stating, “2010 has a number of things planned including new material from Nine Inch Nails and something else that isn’t Nine Inch Nails. I am in a state of rediscovery and reinvention that feels unfamiliar, unsure and exactly what I need.” Ok Trent… figure it out and get back to us.
