The music news beat is hot with rumors as talks of the Rolling Stones to replacing Ronnie Wood are burning up the wires. Following Wood’s alleged assault on his 21-year-old ex-girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova, and his incessant drinking, Mick Jagger has apparently expressed a necessity to replace the guitarist before embarking on a possible 2010 tour. Wood has seemingly become less reliable since parting with his wife of 23 years, Jo, who played the roll of liaison between Ronnie and the band. A friend of the band is quoting saying, “It’s one thing to say ‘Let’s have the Stones frightening the grannies, let’s all be debauched and wild,’ but it’s just not acceptable to have one seen choking his girlfriend.” No final decisions have been made however it seems Jagger is at his wits end.
