Looking to surface at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams’ new film Blue Valentine will feature music by Grizzly Bear. Although not yet confirmed as to how much music Grizzly Bear brings to the flick, the film credits the outfit with fairly definitive composing credit, as does the band’s agency in an updated version of their resume. Sundance calls the film “an intimate, shattering portrait of a disintegrating marriage”, which is directed by Derek Cianfrance and shares a title with Tom Waits’ 1978 album. Hmm… would it be possible to have this movie be any trendier?
