Following a tour bus crash last weekend, Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo has been released from hospital and sent home. Loaded onto a bus to make their way to Los Angeles, California from Albany New York, the Weezer crew commented on their travel preparations for getting Rivers home comfortably saying “We’ve got seasons one and two of “Mad Men” to watch, some books to read, a freezer full of organic entrees, and the bus is wired for internet, so work can continue uninterrupted. The only thing we’re missing is Burt Reynolds in a 1978 Pontiac Trans Am to run point for us!” And the geek rockers worldwide can rejoice for the safety of their leader.
