Yesterday, Sigur Rós made a lot of people rub their heads in confusion. While this isn’t that out of character for the Icelandic band, the short teaser video that they released on their website yesterday, called Inni, was in all senses of the word frustrating. It was frustrating because it didn’t explain anything; it was frustrating because it made really loud distorted noise instead of playing Sigur Rós’ amazing music; and it was frustrating because if you had epilepsy you likely experienced a seizure while watching. The only info that came out of the video was that it had something to do with music (who would have thought?). Well it was revealed today that the clip is a trailer for a film directed by Vincent Morisset that will screen at the Venice Days festival which starts August 31st. Beyond that you’ll have to wait until it leaks to find out more. Watch the teaser on the Sigur Rós website here, where you can also sign up for Inni updates.
